Why do you like Obama? What is it about his political actions and opinions that appeals to you the most? Don’t just tell me that you hate Romney or that Romney’s beliefs are “gay” because that doesn’t answer my question. 

Personally, I care more for social issues than economic ones, not that they are not important; I will address some. Here are some of the reasons that I like Obama.

• His healthcare plan, ObamaCare if you will, primary goal is to provide affordable health insurance to all citizens. It doesn’t replace anything you already have and makes it affordable to the 19 million Americans that will/have recieved tax credits. It also allows for parents to keep kids on their insurance till they are 26, this, from firsthand experience, helps me directly. Without the Affordable Care Act, I wouldn’t have insurance.
• Equal Rights: Support for same-sex marriage, the repeal of DADT, and the signing of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act.
• Women’s Rights: the protection of a woman’s right to choose, coverage of birth control on many insurance plans without co-pays (part of preventative care), the support of Planned Parenthood.
• Taxes and such: asking millionaires to pay their fair share and investing in the middle class and small businesses.

I could keep going but I won’t. I give the guy hell but I have the utmost respect for Mitt Romney. But for me, he is not the man I want as President. He doesn’t represent who I am as a constituent. I have no problem with people supporting him as long as they can do so eloquently and intelligently. On same side, I don’t care if people dislike Obama. You are entitled to opinions and differences in opinions is what makes this country so interesting. I just hate when people are seriously ignorant twats. I joke that I want Mitt to go to sleep and not wake up…. clearly a joke. I know my stuff, everyone should be informed. If you’re not informed you should go to sleep and not wake up. I love politics.

One of these is that he brought milk to a V.A. Hospital. Milk. Really Mitt? Another one was that he volunteered 10 hours a week at his church. Really? Incredible personal story? Go fuck yourself Mitt.
